Please ask for “RollerCon group rate”
Roller derby convention, July 29th - Aug 3rd

Deluxe Rooms (single/double occupancy):
$70 Wed, Thur & Sun
$91 Friday & Sat

Capri Rooms (single/double occupancy):
$50 Wed, Thur & Sun
$71 Friday & Sat
A VERY EXTREMELY limited number of Capri Rooms are available.

* $30 per person for extra people reserved *

It may be possible to find rooms a few bucks cheaper at other hotels, but please consider staying at the RollerCon group rate. These rates were negotiated for us, and the number of rooms we book at this rate is linked to the prices for our conference rooms and other events. For example, we got the training lot for free solely because of the rooms we hope to book. The number of rooms we track each year makes it easier for the planners to accurately predict and plan for the next year, as well.

Another thing to think about is that a lot of people who stayed in other hotels in previous years *wished* they were at the host hotel, because there’s just so much off-the-books mayhem the whole time when you’re in a hotel filled with rollergirls!

Heartfelt Letter to the Imperial Palace
- from Boss Hogg, BADG

Dear Imperial Palace,
The rumor of you being in the shape of a swastika when viewed from a satellite is a bit of a stretch, but you’re evil all the same. I’ll take responsibility for my own drunken stupidity all in good time but f*ck-me-in-the-tooth; who on this planet designed you? You’re a shape-shifter and you know it! Never in my life have I walked down a hallway until it dead ended only to about face into another one. Do your elevators just giggle when called? Do the EXIT signs in your parking structure rotate once passed? How many 4th floors do you have anyway? Don’t get me started about “Barf Hallway”, which fittingly was adjacent to “Hot Garbage Corners”. I’ve never said “f*ck” so many times in one sentence until I met you.

On the other hand, I had one hell of a time.

I met about 150 people but managed to remember only 3 names. My forgetfulness has to be tied to the vast rivers of Heineken and Makers Mark I pulled down coupled with the nervous breakdown I suffered riding elevators.

Having said that, I’ll see you at Rollercon ‘08!
- Boss Hogg

Got something to say about your experiences at the Imperial Palace? Why SHOULD skaters stay there instead of at the $40 hotel off the strip? Tell it to Pam T Hamster at info@rollercon.com.
